Sign Grants - Are designed to assist downtown business owners with eligible signage improvements and/or new signage. Matching grants provide up to 50% of the cost, not to exceed $250.00. Matching grants provide up to 50%of the cost, not to exceed $1500.00. Click Here for Details Community Loan Programs - with the support of Port Washington State Bank, Port Washington Main Street is focused on revitalizing our economy with new low-cost loans between $5,000 and $50,000, for new and existing businesses. The purpose of these loans is to encourage new investment in commercial properties and strengthen our communities by assisting with start-up and expansion costs. Port Washington Main Street Economic Revitalization Program -- To Apply submit a loan application by contacting John Schumacher/VP-Commercial Lender at PWSB. Your application will be confidentially reviewed by the bank. We receive 5 drawings per year for free and work to have them fulfill their historic restoration. To make a formal request for this service or see the current projects please contact us. Business Assistance, Coaching or Mentoring - Main Street has successfully partnered new businesses with one-on-one assistance, coaching or mentoring. The Economic Revitalization Committee (ER) is focused on meeting downtown business needs.
