The Judge Eghart House invites you to step back in time. The house was built in 1872 by Byron and Clara Teed. Judge Leopold Eghart purchased the house and land in 1881. With his wife Anna they raised six children here. There are many stories to share, so please come visit us this summer.
School groups, antique-lovers, bus tour groups, and visitors from around the world explore the Eghart House each year. Tours include the hall, parlor, dining room, bedroom, and kitchen of the house, all furnished with antiques donated by Port Washington and area families.
