Fish and Ships - Gallery 224 Art Exhibition opens on June 29. Featured will be art work of all different media, highlighting a subject near & dear to Port Washington's heart - Fish & Ships. Over 25 artists are participating, drawing from Madison, Milwaukee, Sheboygan and Ozaukee county as well as Stoddard Wisconsin. The gallery is open Saturdays from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm, and Sundays from 11:00 am till 3:00 pm. Exhibit closes September 2. As Jane Suddendorf, President of Gallery 224 said: "Part of my vision is to feature not only the art and artists but to lift up Port Washington's rich fishing tradition and current practice. One of the artist created a series of portraits of people who actually fish down at the Marina daily."
