We are inviting you to show your love for downtown Port Washington, by supporting Main Street. Port Washington Main Street, and their volunteers are responsible for many, many downtown events that you love, as well as the Saturday Farmers Market from June through October, and the Maritime Festival in August. They are also the ones who have worked so hard to bring in the new businesses to our downtown,and to work with building owners on renovations and historic preservation. And being a non-profit organization, independent of the city, they do it all with just under 100 volunteers and donations.
So, knowing how much you enjoy our downtown, the events, the stores, and the cool old buildings, we'd like to ask if you might consider becoming a Friend of Main Street, with a tax deductible donation to support all of the great work they do in our downtown.
With the donations of all the people who love our historic downtown, we can work towards making it even better.
